Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the South Tech Africa website, live chat, domain registration, hosting, subscriptions and any project we build for you. By using our services you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

South Tech provides digital services — websites, mobile apps, hosting, domain registration, digital marketing, graphic design, video production, social media management and bulk SMS. We work hard to keep everything running smoothly but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

• Prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless stated otherwise.
• Project deposits are non-refundable once work has started.
• Domain registrations are non-refundable once activated with the registry.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after 7 days' notice.

You agree not to use our services for anything unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights. This includes but is not limited to:

• Distributing malware, phishing content or spam.
• Hosting content that infringes copyright, trademarks or privacy.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system.
• Sending unsolicited bulk SMS or email through our platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Once a project is fully paid, ownership of custom source code, design deliverables and creative assets transfers to you. Third-party components remain under their own licences. South Tech retains the right to reference completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Any non-public information you share with us in the course of a project is treated as confidential. We're happy to sign an NDA before receiving sensitive documents.

Services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, South Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months for the specific service in question.

Either party may terminate services with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately for violation of these terms, non-payment, or activity that endangers the platform or other users.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Zambian courts.
